Portrait Of A Dancer, 24k Gold Leaf Background, Ballet Painting, Ballerina, Framed Dancer Original Artwork, Not Print By Alex Ja - Newest

Artist's description:I've painted a lot of ballerina's in their final poses, the moves polished and performed to perfection. I've painted this pose before but wanted to return to it as I love the contrast between the relaxed and the tense. The gold leaf is suggestive of the Renaissance paintings of icons, and creates a lovely contrast. The painting is framed in a solidly made, 55 ml wide, frame painted in light grey. The painting is painted on canvas board and mounted on card, housed behind acrylic glass. Frame was professionally made to order by Frames Express. What is Gold Leaf?Gold leaf is gold that has been hammered into thin sheets by goldbeating and is often used for gilding. Gold leaf is available in a wide variety of karats and shades. The most commonly used gold is 22-karat yellow gold, the gold in this artwork is 24.Materials used:Artist Quality Oil Paintings, MDF Board, FramedPanel / Board / MDFOne of a kind artworkSize: 38 x 48 x 3 cm (framed) / 19.99 x 30 x 0.3 cm (unframed)This artwork is sold framedSigned on the frontReady to hang

Brittle small talk chanted in ritualized loops of longing and despair is all that binds three sisters to the world of the living in this disturbing Enda Walsh drama. This transfixing 80-minute work, in its bracing regional premiere at Berkeley’s Shotgun Players, directed by the astute Barbara Damashek, is a thematic companion to the sublimely harrowing “The Walworth Farce.”. Walsh, best known for “Once,” is part of a new wave of Irish playwrights examining shards of language and poetry with distinctly existential overtones. Like his previous “The Walworth Farce,” this lyrical and haunting work evokes memories of everything from Genet’s “The Maids” to Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot.”.

These three sisters, the bossy Breda (Anne Darragh), the mousy Clara (Trish Mulholland) and the breadwinner and baby Ada (Beth Wilmurt), have been locked in a strange rite of sisterhood for as long as they can remember, Their monologues revolve around the night that Breda and Clara, now in their 60s, set off for the village’s new dance club in the hopes of casting off their virginity as teenage girls, All did not go according to plan in that hive of sweat and pop portrait of a dancer, 24k gold leaf background, ballet painting, ballerina, framed dancer original artwork, not print by alex ja music, and they have been trapped reliving that horrible memory of shattering disappointment ever after..
