I Riaffiora nascono nel 2002 a Cittadella (PD). Le loro canzoni possono collocarsi all'interno di quel movimento alternative rock italiano di matrice melodica. Forse è proprio la costante presenza di linee melodiche ariose l’elemento più caratterizzante del loro sound. Nel 2005 autoproducono, con la supervisione di Max Trisotto, "Come D'Inverno Ep". Nel 2006 firmano per la "Nopop" di Guido Elmi. Nel Gennaio 2007 esce "Bands-a new adventure in Rock", una compilation di 7 gruppi emergenti, dove i Riaffiora sono presenti con 2 brani originali.
Nel 2008 pubblicano, sempre per Nopop, l’EP “French Kiss”. L’omonimo videoclip, regia di Saverio Luzzo, va in rotazione su AllMusic,su RockTv, MusicBox e finisce in home page su Myspace e su Youtube. Riceve inoltre, durante il MEI 2009, il premio PIVI come miglior videoclip indipendente dell'anno.
Nel giugno del 2009 realizzano un progetto nuovo e originale, editato dalla neonata etichetta DISCHI SOVIET STUDIO, “Antonio P”, lavoro che racchiude 3 nuovi brani ed un video d’animazione girato da Cristian Guerreschi. La realizzazione del loro primo album si avvale della produzione di Ronan Chris Murphy, produttore, fonico e musicista americano con 25 anni di carriera alle spalle e collaborazioni con icone rock, pop e world del calibro di King Crimson, Steve Morse, Terry Bozzio, Tony Levin, California Guitar Trio, Chucho Valdes e molti altri. L’album, “La Marsigliese”, è uscito a fine marzo 2011. A settembre è stato pubblicato il video del singolo "AllaFine", di nuovo affidato alla regia di Saverio Luzzo.

THE "RIAFFIORA were born in 2002 in Cittadella (Padua). Their songs refer to the Italian alternative rock, based on melodic patterns, as here the main feature is  the continuous presence of airy melodies. In 2005 the band produce by themselves under supervision of Max Trisotto, "Come D'Inverno Ep". In 2006  they signed with "Nopop" owned by  Guido Elmi. In January  2007  the launch of  "Bands-a new adventure in Rock", a compilation made up by 7 emerging groups where the RIAFFIORA are represented with 2 tracks, never released before. In  2008, the RIAFFIORA have their  EP entitled  “French Kiss” published once again by NOPOP. The video made on this latest song, directed by  Saverio Luzzo, is broadcasted on schedule  on several TV channels, as AllMusic,  RockTv, MusicBox and is also showed in the home page of Myspace and Youtube.
Besides that,  during the event  MEI 2009,  this video got the prize  PIVI as “Best Indipendent Video of the Year". In June  2009 they realized a new and original  project , published by newborn label  "DISCHI SOVIET STUDIO, “Antonio P”, this work includes  3 new tracks and animation video shot  by  Cristian Guerreschi. The making of their first  album is enriched by the production of  the American musician , producer and soundman Ronan Chris Murphy,  boasting 25 years background  and collaborations with rock and pop world icons such as  King Crimson, Steve Morse, Terry Bozzio, Tony Levin, California Guitar Trio, Chucho Valdes and many others . The album  “La Marsigliese”, was released at the end of March 2011. September 2011: another video from  their last single "AllaFine", always directed by Saverio Luzzo.
